MARCH 2010. I am currently organizing my schedule for the 2010 Summer Art Festival season. At this stage I will
be attending Plein Air Festivals in Los Gatos, California, Aspen, Colorado and Telluride, Colorado. Click on the Galleries/Showings
tab for more information.
DECEMBER 2009. Ski season is in full swing here in Telluride. Be sure to drop by the Ski School Foyer, Telluride
Members Lounge and the Telluride Naturals store to view my current collection. Telluride Naturals (located across from the
ice rink) also stocks greeting cards featuring select prints of some of my favorite works.

SEPTEMBER 2009. We have recently welcomed the arrival of baby Violet to the Mckenzie Family. Both mum and baby
are doing well.
TELLURIDE PLEIN AIR. JULY 2009. THIRD PLACE. Thanks to everyone that purchased work, gave encouraging
words or just dropped by to say hello. This years event was another huge success, with my work titled "Looking Down"
being awarded third place in the Artists Choice Award.

WILD WEST FEST. JUNE 2009. I am currently working on a collection of "Wild West" themed works as part
of the Wild West Fest celebration being held in Telluride, Colorado from the 8th of June through the 13th. Disadvanteged youth
from inner city areas from all over the country are brought to Telluride for a week of horseriding, hiking and plein air painting.Everyone
is welcome to come along to Elks park at 9am on the 13th and watch the kids and myself painting. Elinoff Gallery
will be hosting a meet the artist reception on Wednesday, June 10th between 5 and 7pm. This years poster work is "San
Juan Stagecoach" pictured below.

CARMEL ART FESTIVAL, MAY 2009. I recently participated in the 2009 Carmel Plein Air Art Festival. The festival
ran over 4 days, during which time artists were required to spend 2 days painting on the beautiful California coast then 2
days displaying and selling their works in the town of Carmel. Canvas' are stamped upon arrival to make sure that all work
was produced on location during the festival. It was my first time painting plein air in a coastal environment despite growing
up on the beaches in Australia.
